A packed program about security at Danish Security Fair 2025

Danish Security Fair

There is plenty to look forward to when the Danish Security Fair opens its doors to the largest trade fair for the security industry to date on August 27 and 28. Both among the exhibitors and on stage, you can get a glimpse into what the future holds in security and safety.

More than 120 exhibitors from all branches of the security industry fill two large halls in Messe C in Fredericia, and it is expected that more than 2200 professionals from across the industry will come to gain new knowledge and inspiration about the latest developments within their profession.

Stage presentations on highly topical topics

In addition to the many new products on the stands, visitors can also look forward to a packed stage program with the topics that are currently the most popular in the industry.

“In close collaboration with the Danish Security Industry, which is the trade association for security and safety, we have put together a program that reaches all corners,” says project manager for the fair, Kim Skovby Klindt. “And of course we have a special focus on highly topical topics, such as the legislation on CER and NIS2, which came into force here on July 1.”

The two EU directives NIS2 and CER both have a major influence on how companies and institutions will work with security and safety in the future, and therefore the new legislation is important for large parts of the industry, which will help raise the level of security measures that will protect people, buildings, areas and data.

A trade fair for everyone interested in security

During the two days of the fair, there is an opportunity to gain new knowledge and inspiration within various topics such as mechanical security, cash handling, developments in the AI field, combating terrorism using drones and securing the urban spaces of the future. All topics will be presented by some of the most prominent experts in the field of security. You can meet, among others, the person in charge of the government's cyber security council, Jacob Herbst, director of the Security Industry, Kasper Skov-Mikkelsen and ESG expert and partner at Ersbøll & Hansen, Lotte Hansen.

“There really is something for everyone. Both on stage and on the exhibition floor among the exhibitors,” states Kim Skovby Klindt. “Whether you are a security manager in an international company or a service manager at a small school, you will be able to find something that is relevant to the security challenges you face.”

Six competitors on the same stage

One of the more spectacular features during the Danish Security Fair will be a joint live video event, where six competing manufacturers present the latest developments in video surveillance based on a joint case about a fictional company.

“It is unique that competing companies stand shoulder to shoulder and present new technology within video surveillance. It really shows the industry's willingness to cooperate on security,” says Kim Skovby Klindt. “The ambition with the Danish Security Fair is precisely to bring the industry together so that together we can inspire each other to push the development of security solutions forward,” concludes the project manager for the fair.
