Danish Security Fair breaks visitor record

On Thursday, August 31, 2023 at 15.59:XNUMX p.m., the last guest left FAIR C, and the exhibitors packed up their stands. The team behind Danish Security Fair can look back with pleasure on the fact that Denmark's largest security fair became even bigger – both in terms of number of guests and exhibitors.

When MESSE C in Fredericia on August 30-31 was transformed into the Danish Security Fair, the exhibition halls were buzzing with life and a good atmosphere. Guests were curious to learn new things and eager to visit the exhibitor stands. And both guests and exhibitors had plenty to see.

This year there were 1948 visitors and 93 exhibitors - which means that there were 44 percent more visitors than at the fair in 2021, and there were also more exhibiting companies than there have been before.

"It has been absolutely fantastic that there has been such great support for the fair. The atmosphere has been good, and people have been happy. It shows that the Danish Security Fair has its justification - and the number of visitors has proven that to a large extent," says the happy project manager, Charlotte Buus.

Employee meetings and planning

Now the evaluation of this year's fair begins, and it won't be long before the first initial preparations for the next fair begin.

“It has been really good this year, and for each fair we always work on improving ourselves so that we can make Danish Security Fair even better the next time it takes place,” says Charlotte Buus.

This year's theme meetings and events were also well attended, and the fair also provided an opportunity to hold employee meetings. Among others, Bravida gathered 117 of their staff for a knowledge sharing day, and Salto Systems gathered over 100 of their customers for a conference, training and party.

"The fair was super good, and a lot of people we knew came. I think the planning and structure worked really well, because it's easy to go in, register and order tickets," says Liv Kolstad, marketing manager at Salto Systems.

The fair returns

Several exhibitors have already re-booked their stands, and the theme behind Danish Security Fair is looking forward to holding the next fair, which will be held on August 27-28, 2025.

"And who knows? Maybe there will be even more new initiatives in the next version of the fair. One thing is for sure: We wanted to create a gathering place for the entire security industry, and that became the Danish Security Fair," concludes Charlotte Buus.
